Job Description

As an RF Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of wireless technologies that power our innovative hearing solutions. Working within our Electronic Systems & RF team, you will contribute to the development of wireless communication systems—from early concept development through to successful product integration and certification.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to transform innovative RF concepts into high-performance products. More about the role

  • Define technical specifications for RF functions, including RF circuits and antenna systems
  • Design, develop, and optimize PCB antennas and RF circuits from concept through product integration
  • Create verification strategies, develop test plans, and perform verification of RF solutions to ensure performance and reliability
  • Perform RF simulations and evaluate antenna and transceiver performance using industry-leading simulation tools
  • Support the design, development, and verification of next-generation wireless communication platforms
  • Lead RF compliance activities, ensuring product conformance with regulatory standards
  • Manage and support RF certification activities by coordinating with external test laboratories and ensuring successful product qualification
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on technology assessments, feasibility studies, innovation initiatives, and future wireless platform development

More about you

  • Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in RF design within an R&D environment, including antenna design, RF measurements, and wireless system development
  • Strong expertise in RF simulation tools such as ADS and CST Studio Suite
  • Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, and antenna measurement systems
  • Experience designing analog electronic circuits and PCB-based RF solutions
  • Familiarity with wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth, ISM (2.4 GHz), and low-power wireless systems
  • Experience with MATLAB and Altium Designer is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent written and spoken English; German or French would be an asset
