The Returns Goods Technician is the driving force behind turning product returns into opportunities for improvement—managing, documenting, and resolving returned items while uncovering insights that enhance quality and elevate the customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and schedule return pickups to ensure timely and efficient product recovery.
  • Process, inspect, and evaluate returned products to determine disposition and identify quality trends.
  • Repackage and prepare items for resale or redistribution, maintaining product integrity and standards.
  • Manage and resolve freight and parcel claims, minimizing loss and improving recovery outcomes.
  • Validate and confirm cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.
  • Submit and track reconsignment requests, ensuring proper routing and handling of returned goods.
  • Identify, locate, and verify returned items in response to Customer Care inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Oversee return workflows to uphold quality standards, supporting inspections and corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects that enhance returns processes and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly to support seamless operations
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Safety-focused while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks
  • Utilize computer systems and tools efficiently, with working knowledge of AS400, Blue Yonder, SAP, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Safely lift and handle materials up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, supporting daily operational needs
  • Operate in a warehouse environment, including climbing ladders as required, while adhering to safety standards
