The Rewards & Analytics Manager supports the delivery and continuous improvement of compensation, benefits and people analytics programs within a complex French multinational environment. The role works closely with the General Manager, Talent Development & Rewards, local HR stakeholders and Veolia’s head office in France to ensure Australian reward practices are appropriately aligned with Group frameworks, policies and reporting requirements, while also meeting local legislative and business needs.

The role contributes to the effective attraction, retention and motivation of employees through the implementation of fair, competitive and well-governed reward practices. This includes coordinating salary grading and benchmarking activities, annual compensation and variable pay processes, employee benefits, French Group reporting requirements, and employee share program, and people data management and analytics.

Managing the Rewards & Analytics team of 3 people, you will:

  • Deliver and provide expertise and support on the annual compensation review and variable pay processes, strategy and systems
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR Business community and hiring managers on compensation related matters, job grading and job families, salary benchmarking, advice and analysis services
  • Manage Veolia’s benefits programs including superannuation, share plans, novated leases, insurances, health and wellbeing initiatives and other employee offerings
  • Manage and ensure the timely completion and improvement of all people reporting and provide the business with data analytics for proactive decision making
  • Partner with the HRIS team, ensuring audit and governance processes are implemented to manage data and maintain integrity of the information contained within the HRIS (SuccessFactors)
  • Investigate gender pay gaps post WGEA reporting and work with the HR Business Partnering team to identify trends and address gaps
  • Initiate and coordinate company-wide roll-out of key projects or initiatives relating to compensation and benefits

To be successful you:

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills you need to have demonstrated leadership abilities in building and developing high-performing teams and driving results as well as hold a high level of integrity and discretion. As well as this, you:

  • Must be Tertiary qualified, ideally in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or other related area
  • Would preferably have extensive knowledge and understanding of Success Factors (SF) modules
  • Would have a minimum of 5 years experience across all technical areas of compensation and benefits
  • Possess strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders in Australia and France
