DRAFTSPERSON - Residential Homes – EPPING

Of The Company / Role

• Based Epping
• Architectural Builder who focus on custom homes ($1m-$2m builds) but also subdivisions on their own land
• Highly established and respected having built in NSW for 60 years who have a genuine and welcoming environment to work
• Work closely with and be mentored by their Architect who has been with the business 10 years
• Looking for a passionate, up and coming drafter who has a can do attitude, can think on their feet and are proficient on Revit
• Salary range $70k - $80k + Super

Key Responsibilities

• Development Application and Construction Certificate Submissions.
• Coordinate and review design documentation
• Coordinate external consultants
• Sign off pre-construction package
• Update drawings as necessary during the construction period
• Liaise with construction and sales teams
• Work with interiors team to ensure projects are completed and ready for construction handover
• Execute detailed construction plans, ensuring the amalgamation of both internal and external documentation into comprehensive construction documentation
• Produce comprehensive construction documentation and construction certification, ensuring that it achieved compliance with Australian standards.
• Liaise with consultants, and clients, compiling and coordinating the submissions of DAs, CDC’S and CC’s.

Requirements To Apply

• A relevant tertiary qualification such as Diploma in Building Design or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the same role within residential homes
• A portfolio of work to demonstrate plans previously detailed and documented
• Fully proficient in Revit
• High attention to detail
• Strong understanding of the Australian Building Code
• Understanding of DCP, LEP, CDC
