Job Description

, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for reverse logistics that align with the company’s overall supply chain and business objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline reverse logistics processes, reduce turnaround times, and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on return trends, inventory levels, and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, customer service, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of reverse logistics processes.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and vendors to ensure efficient returns processing and cost management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all reverse logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or reverse logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of reverse logistics processes, inventory management, and sustainability practices.
