Job Description

The economic management unit is part of the financial management and is responsible for managing the different procedures that have accounting reflection in the management ERP. The unit manages the entity's expenses and income ensuring that the entity's financial statements reflect a true image of the Foundation's assets and financial situation.

The position is part of the unit's revenue department. The selected candidate will be responsible for the financial management of various revenue streams, including invoicing for clinical trials and other agreements. In addition, they will maintain direct contact with research staff and other parties involved in expense management.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Revenue management and invoicing: Support the management and processing of revenue streams, including the preparation, follow-up and coordination of invoices related to clinical trials, agreements and other activities.
• Account management and financial support: Provide support to researchers in the management and follow-up of their accounts, ensuring that relevant financial information and documentation are properly recorded and up to date.
• Administrative and accounting processes: Prepare, review and organise the documentation required for revenue-related procedures and support the correct recording of transactions in the relevant financial management systems.
• Coordination and communication: Maintain regular communication with researchers, coordinators and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries, follow up on pending issues and ensure the smooth management of revenue processes.
• Monitoring and team support: Monitor pending invoices and other revenue-related tasks, contribute to the resolution of discrepancies and provide support to the revenue team, particularly during periods of increased workload

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• FPII in administration or economic field
• Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (professional proficiency)

Desirable:

• Degree in economics or any other in the social field

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• At least 2 years’ experience working in administrative
• Basic knowledge of clinical trial billing
• Knowledge of basic accounting and tax.
• Capacity to manage work peaks and proactively communicate with the rest of the team

Desirable:

• Knowledge of ERP Hipocrates
• Knowledge of ERP Fundanet
• Professional experience in other centres CERCA

Labour conditions:

• Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
• Starting date: As soon as possible
• Gross annual salary: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay scale.
• Contract type: Permanent
