Revenue Accounting Seasonal Intern

We are seeking a mature individual to join our SIRVA Canada team with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail that will yield high-accuracy data entry results and strong customer service skills. You continually seek answers and have a knack for confidently and quickly applying this new knowledge in your work. You are a team player but excel while quietly working on individual assignments and tasks.
Responsibilities
• Communicate (telephone, electronic messages/email) with agency staff to obtain information and documentation essential to completing the “picture” on each move order
• Gather and prepare documents and electronic information for invoicing
• Audit and transcribe inventory forms to create shipment weights according to contract terms
• File (electronically) documents requiring manual inspection and indexing
• Maintain file room and manage daily filing and document retrieval
• Provide backup to the Reception Desk
Qualifications
• Moving industry experience is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written skills with an aptitude for clear, courteous, and concise communication, ideally in both English and French languages
• Able to prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Good working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. geography
Education and Certification Requirements
• College diploma, enrolment in post-secondary studies, or combination of completed high school education and tangible post-academic work experience
Additional Notes
• Position is located at Sirva’s Edmonton, AB office, located in west Edmonton. Hybrid (work-at-office with work-from-home) arrangement available.
• Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance granted by CIISD/PSPC is required; the security clearance application will be facilitated via Sirva’s Company Security Officer (CSO)

• Position Title: Revenue Processing Intern
• Salary Range: $20CAD/HR
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package that includes choice of two Medical plans and two dental plans; Retirement plan, RRSP employer match (after 1 year), Life & Disability Insurance, and more. Benefits are based on employment status and may not be available for temporary or part-time employees
Salary ranges may vary based on location, market conditions, and other factors such as experience and qualifications. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process based on these considerations.
