Summary

Serves as the coordinator responsible for the administrative processes and procedures to manage revenue cycle education services and programs including scheduling, communication with other departments, advanced reporting, security management, and coordination of procedures and programs within the department.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates, evaluates, and manages educational programs (pre and post) and procedures associated with a successful program or event including managing requests; utilizing the learning management system (LMS) to create an electronic record of educational programs; evaluating and coordinating the navigation of students through applicable educational programs; and documenting student participation, class completion, and evaluation including management of clerical transfers within network, assignment of TLC education, and RCE mailing list and audience update.
  • Serves as the liaison with many departments and utilizes operational understanding of many roles within the network to communicate and confirm educational program needs.
  • Manages and understands security access for multiple applications based on student educational program outcome.
  • Utilizes multiple computer programs to collect, analyze, evaluate, and report on educational program data and success.
  • Prepares, communicates, and posts information pertaining to educational programs on departmental webpage and other electronic sites throughout the network including communication to the team pertaining to educational programs.
  • Investigates and keeps abreast of new technologies (project management and help desk software) that can be utilized in educational planning and event management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years Clerical, coordination, or administrative support role. or
  • 3 years Related to the coordination of education events. and
  • 1 year Using advanced technologies used to deliver or evaluate educational experiences such as learning management systems, polling devices, evaluation software, or instructional or web design skills.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve, prioritize tasks, and use good judgment to make decisions.
  • Ability to organize delivery of quality customer service while managing multiple projects and tasks.
  • Understanding of front-end access and revenue, as well as individual departmental processes/workflows.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Technically savvy and willingness to learn new technology.
  • Proficiency as an LMS Admin within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree Business, Healthcare Administration, or Education.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
