The Revenue Auditor I is responsible for conducting accurate and timely daily revenue audits, ensuring compliance with financial controls, gaming regulations, and company policies. This role analyzes financial data, investigates discrepancies, and supports the integrity of reporting processes across the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily audits of revenue and casino-related financial data
  • Review, analyze, and verify financial documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Research and investigate discrepancies, missing information, or variances
  • Compile and maintain supporting documentation for audit findings
  • Prepare and input daily revenue audit reports and supporting schedules
  • Generate reports and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare journal entries and track coupons and variances
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly reporting deadlines
  • Prepare, verify, and distribute daily operating reports
  • Maintain and update audit procedures and departmental checklists
  • Monitor financial activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls
  • Process and analyze data from multiple sources for reconciliation and reporting requirements
  • Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial records
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Support a high level of internal service and operational excellence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and documents
  • Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Preferred:

  • Previous auditing experience
  • Casino or hospitality industry experience
  • Knowledge of audit methodologies and financial controls

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based with regular use of computers and financial systems
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting and data analysis
  • Frequent review of detailed financial documents and reports
  • Regular communication with team members and leadership
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
