Manages the Revenue Audit staff and the Count Team. Oversees the Audit clerks perform the hotel and casino’s daily revenue audits, in accordance with established procedures. Oversee the daily operations of ordering all BWRC office and clerical supplies, food provisions and goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for processing and entering purchase orders into INTACCT system for approval as required.
Issue purchase orders for approved requests through accounting software.
Places orders through approved sponsored/licensed vendors
Must adhere to company policies and procedures on Purchasing and Procurement practices.
Operates and reviews the Slot Accounting system reports.
Reviews all entries made by Audit clerks on Slot, Cage, and Table Games spreadsheets.
Input daily information into the financial accounting system on a monthly basis in preparation of financial reports.
Verifies all W2G, 1099 Misc, and 1042-S entries for yearly submittal to the Internal Revenue Service.
Develops’ procedures for efficient accounting work flow, maintaining changes when necessary.
Maintains various spreadsheets on progressive meters and prepares Wide Area Progressive and Participation machine invoices on a weekly basis.
Maintains all City Ledger accounts, applies payment, and sends out monthly invoices in timely fashion.
Has thorough knowledge of all Resort daily revenue audits, credit card submittal procedure and process and Accounts Receivable.
Monitors Count Team reports and activity for compliance to internal controls.
Train’s the revenue audit staff.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, termination, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, reward and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Performs all functions in accordance with Tribal, Federal, State Health & Safety Regulations, Gaming Regulations, and BlueWater Resort & Casino policies and procedures.
All other duties as assigned (job description permitting), or as approved by the Tribal Gaming Agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of computers, and spreadsheet and accounting applications is necessary.
Knowledge in payroll, compliance and expenditures.
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision is necessary.
Problem solving skills are much needed to clearly present ideas and findings to Chief Financial Officer and other departments.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS Degree with emphasis in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred;
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of games auditing, reconciliation and accounting experience required.
Minimum three (3) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Proficiency in application of internal auditing theory, standards, procedures and techniques.
Knowledge of casino rules, procedures and regulations pertaining to casino operations are required.
