– Presales Consultant/ Business and Solutions Consultant for Revenue Assurance
Mandate
Provide Business Development and Presales support for Subex’s Revenue Assurance solutions and Services Offerings. These offerings include the company’s RA product and managed services
Locations: India - Remote
Roles and Responsibilities:
• The suitable person should be hands-on in telecom RA domain know-how, and should demonstrate excellent understanding of the sales process, including supporting customer meetings, proposal creation, solution discussions, solution pitch and other steps to ensure progression and closure of opportunities
• Should work closely with Regional Sales /Directors and Leaders in building region-wise/account-wise plans to achieve business order intake targets
• Work closely with customers, understand and capture requirements, including being completely responsible and accountable for RFI/RFPs from a solution perspective
• Defending bid/ proposal at customer location alongside members of the sales team
• Translating customer requirements into cost inputs for the term sheet build for an opportunity
• Engaging in consultative and insight-driven discussions with any level of the client’s leadership team, up to and including CxO level, to position Subex’s Revenue Assurance products and services
• Driving an end-to-end presales project to identify opportunity, perform a feasibility study, build an RFP response, own bid defence, define the win strategy and client solution, and develop a proposal and win customer due diligence
• Responsible for active external representation of the company. Such involvement may include frequent sales preparation and presentation, conference presentations, and user group presentations
Accountability and Authority:
• Accountable for achieving the Order Intake target for RA solutions
• Accountable for the development and progression of the pipeline
• Accountable for proposal accuracy, quality and bid defence
• Authority to decide the right approach and solution for opportunities
• Accountable for providing technical qualification of Sales opportunities
• Accountable for account planning jointly with Sales and Fulfilment
• Accountable for creating proposals in response to RFP/RFI/demos/POC’s
Experience:
• 8 or more years of experience as a Sr consultant, Sr. business analyst, SME, Implementation Engineer, Presales Consultant in telecom Revenue Assurance and or Billing and or BSS Solutions
• Understanding of critical operational processes within a telecom operator, including Quote-to-Cash business assurance, fraud management, revenue assurance, wholesale and enterprise billing and partner management
• Excellent understanding of finance-related/BSS telco domains, including Billing, ERP, CRM, Cost Management
• Understanding of complex software systems and architectures
• Understanding of AI/GenAI/ AI Agents and their impact on Telecom Operations
• Excellent understanding of evolving telco landscape, including 5G, Cloud Transformation, and Digital Transformation
• Understanding of change management. What mix of people, processes, systems and data is necessary to make a project successful?
• Experience with at least one major telco transformation program and deep insights into why the project was either measurably successful or a failure.

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree/BTech in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• MBA is a plus
• Finance or accounting degree or certificate is a plus
