The Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting the resort’s revenue management strategy through data analysis, forecasting, pricing optimization, and reporting. The role focuses on maximizing room revenue, occupancy, and profitability while maintaining the resort’s market positioning and competitive advantage.

The Revenue Analyst works closely with Reservations, Sales & Marketing, Front Office, Finance, and Distribution teams to ensure effective revenue strategies are implemented across all market segments and distribution channels.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources (PMS, RMS, and OTAs) to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports, including forecasting and benchmarking analysis.
  • Support the team in the preparation of revenue budgets and forecasts.

Strategy Implementation:

  • Assist in implementing pricing strategies across the hotel(s), ensuring compliance with revenue management guidelines.
  • Monitor and ensure the alignment of rates and availability across all distribution channels.
  • Provide support with the tactical implementation of revenue initiatives, such as promotions, flash sales, and last-minute offers.
  • Assist in the overall rate loading process throughout Minor distribution network.
  • To be part of all Revenue management related meetings and take note of specific action points that is to be noted, circulated and put in action.

Revenue Optimization:

  • Help optimize room inventory and pricing to maximize hotel revenues.
  • Support the evaluation of market demand, booking trends, and competitor analysis to suggest revenue-maximizing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align strategies for targeted revenue growth.

System Support & Maintenance:

  • Provide support in the management and maintenance of the Revenue Management Systems (RMS) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with troubleshooting system-related issues and coordinate with IT or external vendors for resolution.

Training & Development:

  • Assist in training hotel teams on revenue management tools, systems, and strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in revenue management and share knowledge with the broader team.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with the hotel(s) general managers, S&M and front-office teams to ensure that revenue strategies are effectively implemented at the property level.
  • Communicate performance insights and recommend adjustments to hotel teams and regional leadership.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.

- 1-3 years of experience in a revenue management role within the hospitality industry.

- Proficient in revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, IDeaS, STR, or similar).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
