This position will be required to actively participate in Monthly/Quarterly/Annual revenue related close activities for UKG US & International entities. Person will be required to prepare various reconciliation & run several controls to ensure Revenue Management System is complete. He/ She will be required to collaborate with Corporate Revenue Operations Finance Team & other respective stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are timely to internal/external customers with utmost quality standards. The job responsibilities require knowledge of global revenue recognition standard ASC606 and understanding of Revenue Management System (RMS or Zuora RevPro) will be added advantage. This position will be based out of UKG Noida office in India and will report to the Associate Manager Revenue Accounting of Global Finance Operation team.
Responsibilities
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end revenue close activities ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with ASC 606. Hands on experience of revenue compliance and/or revenue recognition experience
• Key activities include Microsoft Planner maintenance, RMS sales order upload and invoice corrections, journal entry preparation, RMS(RevPro) to General Ledger transfers and account reconciliations for deferred revenue & Contract Assets. Candidate should have a thorough understanding of Variance analysis (fluxes)
• Running and maintaining the Revenue system controls to ensure upstream system (D365, Salesforce, CPQ) data reconciles to General Ledger & Financial statements
• Prepare and maintain monthly Contract Assets and deferred revenue reconciliations & periodically upload those on Blackline tool
• Support internal & external audit requirements for consolidated as well as local statutory audits
• Partner with corporate teams to run various new integrations and ad-hoc & process improvement projects to drive efficiencies
• Assist with the implementation of best-in-class revenue operation processes
• Help drive process improvement initiatives by applying strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Qualification:
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in finance close operations, financial statements or Revenue Recognition
• Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance. CA candidates are preferred.
• Experience working with different data sources such as ERP systems knowledge required (Oracle, Salesforce, CPQ preferred) & previous working experience with Revenue Management Systems like Zuora RevPro experience is a plus
• Ability to embrace technology & change and should have technical mindset to support Automation implementations
• Proficient in written & verbal communication with expert working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong people and customer service skills, advocate positive working relationships among internal and external customers
• Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company would be a plus
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong self-starter with the ability to think creatively, well-organized, solution unexpected issues and work towards meeting deadlines
