Returns Business Operations Analyst

• Resource acts as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for market returns in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka (IBSL). This role is responsible for the end-to-end management and oversight of the returns processes, from the initial claims through to final disposition. In addition, the resource is accountable for enabling and achieving operational key performance indicator (KPI) targets associated with these returns.

To drive success, resource collaborates closely with a diverse and complex team to ensure effective execution of various project initiatives, supporting both operational goals and continuous process improvement within the returns environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a broad range of complex supply chain processes, such as Claims handling and processing, Reverse Supply Chain Logistics, Value Recovery processes. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leads/develops recommendations and provides insight for management.
  • Independently executes complex Claims analysis, connecting Claims and their Return triggers to identify issues and their impact.
  • Independently executes complex Value Recovery program analysis to identify opportunities and their impact.
  • Partners with various Organizations to look into and drive process improvements or needs relating to Returns and Value Recovery.
  • Leads cross-functional regional and global business unit teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes or to enable new program flows.
  • Defines and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement and actions to address.
  • Works cross-functionally to prioritize backlog of issues and opportunities.
  • Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
  • Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit teams.
  • Mentors junior-level staff and establishes guidelines for the mentorship programs.


Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 6-10 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise resource planning tools such as SAP S4 Hana
  • Identifies cutting edge analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent knowledge of using tools to conduct analysis such as Power BI
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Excellent internal and external relationship management skills.
  • Very Strong project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies.
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Very strong understanding of HP’s overall supply chain strategy.
  • Strong leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management
