The Retrofit Project Supervisor will oversee and manage retrofit projects within the building and construction industry in Exeter. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The supervisor will coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and clients, to facilitate effective communication and project execution, contributing to the company's commitment to sustainable building practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of retrofit projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and schedules.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with retrofit projects.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project supervision or management within the building and construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of retrofit processes and sustainable building practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
