We are looking for: Solution Engineer - Retrofit AIS Engineer - Electrical

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Daily job functions would include the following:
  • Interfacing customers/application engineers/project managers to gather appropriate details to execute projects.
  • Creating and modifying approval drawing packages for MV control gear and switchgear.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials, Layout Drawings, Single line Drawings, Cable Scheduling and Review Specification documents based on the best judgement of the Engineer.
  • Specifying custom mechanical BOMs for multiple product lines.
  • Detailed Mechanical General Arrangement drawings of Switchgear according customer requirement.
  • Knowledge in Switchgear Product Standardization and NEMA Standards
  • Knowledge and understanding of Fault level calculations and Switchgear ratings.
  • Prepare Customer-facing Closeout / As built documents for the complete scope of work.
  • Work towards effective execution of the project.
  • Various reporting needs related to the job function – SalesForce experience is a plus Activating and releasing sales order BOMs in SAP for production..

Use your skills to move the world forward!

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

· 4+ years of experience in a technical role related to the subject matter.

· Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, IEC and NEMA standards for power distribution applications and the best practices

· Excellent communications skills to effectively and accurately communicate with internal and external customers.

· Excellent collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills in a team environment, and demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

· AutoCAD or similar Designing tool.

· Experience with Ebase, experience with SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems and complex engineering Bill of Materials.

· Travel Required – Less than 10%.

· Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with air-insulated switchgear

· Retrofit engineering

· Troubleshooting mechanical systems..
