Havas CreativeThe Retoucher is a key member of the Prose on Pixels imaging team, specializing in elevating photographic assets through expert-level retouching and post-production techniques. This role includes skin cleanup, object replacement, extending images, removing background elements, color correction, creating silhouettes, and enhancing overall photographic quality.
As part of a support function to creative agencies and clients, the Retoucher must follow artistic direction, collaborate closely with Art Directors, the Imaging Manager, and the broader Imaging team, and maintain a highly organized workflow to deliver multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Creativity & Technical Expertise
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
Ability to create robust, detailed, high‑resolution images combining photography, 3D illustration, generative AI, and retouching.
Strong knowledge of CMYK conversion (GRACOL, SWOP, SNAP).
Advanced understanding of color theory, lighting, and color correction.
Skilled in preparing files for both print and web production.
Mastery of color spaces and color profile applications.
Ability to produce images consistent with production specifications.
High‑end retouching skills: makeup correction, backgrounds, wardrobe adjustments, facial/body reshaping, skin ailment correction, and texture smoothing.
Expertise in silhouetting, complex masking, and generating clipping paths.
Proficiency in Camera Raw processing.
Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with advertising and imaging trends.
Ability to contribute creative ideas and enhance project value.
Conduct thorough final quality checks to ensure top‑tier output.
Stay updated on emerging retouching tools, techniques, and industry trends to elevate team capabilities.
Background, Experience & Skills
BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Retouching, Fine Arts, Photography, or related field.
4+ years of studio or creative services retouching experience.
Global experience is a plus.
Experience in advertising—especially pharmaceutical, fashion, beauty, or luxury—is an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Strong proficiency with Macintosh systems and digital production software including Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD), generative AI tools, Adobe Acrobat, Color Proofing, Fiery, and Pre‑Flight software.
Familiarity with 3D rendering or CGI is a plus.
Strong understanding of Macintosh OS.
Familiarity with project management tools.
Cross‑platform proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Ability to think three‑dimensionally; drawing skills are a plus.
Deadline‑driven, detail‑oriented, organized, and highly collaborative.
Strong problem‑solving skills.
Deep understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
