Now Hiring: Retail Warehouse Associate – La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries

Location: Glendale, AZ

La-Z-Boy is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to help keep our store running at its best. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager, Sales Associates, and Designers to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll help receive and organize inventory, support the showroom with merchandise movement and setup, and ensure products are handled with care so our customers have an outstanding experience.

Pay: $16 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of furniture and accessories

  • Assist with furniture prep, floor moves, and floor sets

  • Assist with tagging

  • Maintain lighting and other floor standards

  • Assist with receiving and storage of furniture and accessories

  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized stockroom and retail store

  • Comply with all safety regulations established by the company

  • Work in a team atmosphere and help when your team is in need

  • A thorough understanding of the proper methods and procedures used in safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.

  • Basic knowledge of inventory procedures

  • Self-management to demonstrate self-control and the ability to manage time and priorities

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Prior warehouse or customer service or related experience

  • Professional dress and appearance

  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Bending, lifting, sitting and standing for periods of time

  • Interaction with customers and co-workers, focus and concentration

SCOPE & IMPACT:
Understands and executes LZB policies and procedures and communicates this properly to customers. Utilizes computer to input comments and answer questions regarding order status, account balance, and inventory availability. Maintains professional phone etiquette, takes detailed phone messages and returns calls same day.
