We're looking for a passionate and highly organised Retail Support Manager to join our team on a 12-month parental leave contract.
Reporting to the GM Retail Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing the Platypus & Hype DC brands to life across our store network. Working across Retail Operations, Marketing, Buying, Planning and Store Development, you'll help deliver premium in-store experiences through visual merchandising, campaign execution, product education, retail communications and key business projects.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for supporting the execution of key retail initiatives that enhance the customer journey and ensure every Platypus & Hype DC stores deliver a consistent and engaging brand experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and rolling out visual merchandising guidelines and store directives across the retail network.
• Partnering with Regional Leaders to coach stores and maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards.
• Coordinating the in-store execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and major product launches.
• Managing the in-store ambience program, ensuring music and store atmosphere reflect the Platypus & Hype DC brands.
• Partnering with Buying and Brand teams to develop engaging product training and education for retail teams.
• Coordinating training initiatives supporting new product launches and key categories.
• Acting as the key connection between Retail Operations, Marketing, Buying, Planning and Store Development to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
• Managing the weekly Plat Pack and ensuring clear, engaging and timely communication to stores.
• Gathering store feedback and identifying opportunities to continually improve the customer experience.
• Supporting major retail projects including conferences, training events, store initiatives and business-wide rollouts.
• Visiting stores to provide hands-on support and ensure operational excellence across the network.
About You
You'll be an energetic and collaborative retail professional who is passionate about creating memorable customer experiences and driving excellence in execution.
To be successful, you'll bring:
• Previous experience in Retail Operations, Retail Support, Visual Merchandising or Store Experience.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A customer-first mindset and passion for premium retail experiences.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Confidence working across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
