Job Description

Retail Supervisor (Zone Manager) – Retail Leadership Role (MKE Airport)

Looking to grow your leadership career in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? Join our team at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) as a Zone Manager and help deliver first-class service to travelers from around the world.

In this role, you’ll lead by example—supporting your team, driving sales, and ensuring smooth daily operations across your assigned area. This is a hands-on leadership position where no two days look the same.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Experience

  • Set the standard for exceptional customer service and step in to resolve concerns when needed
  • Model service behaviors and create a positive, welcoming environment
  • Support register operations, cash handling, and loss prevention processes

Run the Operation

  • Oversee opening and closing procedures to ensure a strong start and finish to each shift
  • Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are organized
  • Support receiving, replenishment, and inventory processes
  • Troubleshoot basic register or system issues and escalate when needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Drive the Business

  • Support sales goals through strong execution of promotions and daily priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and enhance the customer experience
  • Communicate clearly with the team to keep everyone aligned and focused

Lead the Team

  • Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
  • Coach, train, and support associates in their daily responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to address performance and support development
  • Build positive working relationships across the airport community

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous leadership experience in retail, food service, or a similar environment preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on both people and operations
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
