We’relooking for an inspiringsuperstoresupervisorto join Cancer Research UK’s trading teamin our homeware departmentYou’llbe acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, supporting the superstore management teamto maximise on sales and fundraising targets. Your superstore will be a place where your community gets to meet our people, understand our brand, and see some of thegreat thingswe do.
You’llalso be surrounded by people who are as dedicated to beating cancer as you are.
What will I be doing?
Taking responsibility for thecommercialrunning of the homeware departmentThis includesdisplay and merchandising, stock management and generation,maintainingshop standards, store layout,salesand income.
Working alongside the superstore management teamto meet agreed targets for donated stock, cash, benchmark gift aid, average selling price, sell through and stock processing.
Leading by example and providing excellent customer and supporter service.
Supporting the organisation and delivery of creative fundraising events for your store
Deputising for thesuperstore management teambyassumingadditionalresponsibilities includingsupervision of colleagues and volunteers,assistingwith teamtrainingand undertaking keyholder responsibilities whenrequired
There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activityrequiredwithin the day-to-day duties of the role.
