Retail Store Manager – Gladstone

CPAP Direct | Gladstone, QLD | Full-time

At CPAP Direct, we help people improve their sleep and quality of life through personalised advice, sleep health solutions and CPAP therapy. We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Retail Store Manager to lead our Gladstone store and sleep study clinic.

You don't need previous CPAP or sleep health experience. We provide comprehensive training to help you develop the knowledge and confidence to succeed!

Your hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
• A rostered day off is earned for every two Saturday shifts worked.

What you'll be doing

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are quite the same! You'll oversee the daily running of the store while supporting your team and delivering exceptional customer and patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the team to achieve store goals and deliver outstanding service.
• Assisting customers with CPAP machines, masks and accessories.
• Setting up home sleep tests and educating patients about sleep health and CPAP therapy.
• Troubleshooting equipment and finding practical solutions to customer concerns.
• Building strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
• Managing sales, POS transactions, reporting and general administration.
• Providing professional after-sales support and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

About you

You're a natural people person who enjoys leading by example, building relationships and making a genuine difference in people's lives.

You'll bring:

• At least 12 months' experience in store management or retail leadership.
• Experience in a busy retail or customer service environment.
• A genuine passion for customer service and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life.
• Empathy, compassion and a patient-focused approach.
• The ability to prioritise, problem-solve and work confidently under pressure.
• Initiative, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
• Professionalism, integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Confidence using technology and POS systems; Lightspeed experience is an advantage.

Experience in pharmacy, CPAP, optometry, audiology or healthcare retail is beneficial but not essential. We can teach you about sleep health – your attitude, personality and willingness to learn are what matter most!
