With a proud heritage in British high street retail, TGJones is looking for hardworking, organised and enthusiastic people to join our team as Retail Stock Replenishment Assistants.

If you enjoy keeping things organised, working at pace and taking pride in a job well done, this could be the perfect opportunity. You’ll play an important part in making sure our stores are well-stocked, organised and ready for customers throughout the busy seasonal trading period.

About the role

As a Retail Stock Replenishment Assistant, you’ll help keep our store running smoothly by making sure products are available, easy to find and presented to a high standard.

From processing deliveries and organising stockrooms to replenishing shelves and maintaining the shop floor, you’ll help ensure customers can find what they’re looking for whenever they visit.

This is an active, hands-on role where teamwork, attention to detail and a positive attitude make all the difference. You’ll work alongside colleagues to keep stock moving efficiently from delivery to shop floor, particularly during our busiest trading periods.

You’ll help us to:

Keep shelves stocked. Replenish products across the store, making sure shelves and displays are well-stocked and products are easy for customers to find.

Process deliveries. Receive, unpack and sort deliveries, ensuring stock is handled carefully and moved efficiently to the right areas.

Maintain an organised stockroom. Keep stockrooms tidy, organised and safe, making it easy for colleagues to locate and access products.

Support stock availability. Identify gaps on shelves, check stock levels and help ensure products are replenished when needed.

Keep the store looking its best. Maintain clean, tidy and well-presented shelves, displays and shop floor areas.

Work safely and efficiently. Follow safe working practices when handling deliveries, moving stock and using equipment.

Be a great teammate. Work closely with colleagues across the store, supporting one another to keep everything running smoothly.

About you

We’re looking for people with a positive attitude, a good work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in. Previous retail or stock-handling experience is helpful but not essential, as we’ll provide the training and support you need.

You’ll bring:

A strong work ethic. You’re reliable, motivated and happy to take a hands-on approach to your work.

Good organisation. You can keep things tidy, manage tasks and pay attention to the details.

A practical approach. You’re comfortable with an active role involving standing, moving stock and working on your feet.

Attention to detail. You take pride in making sure products are in the right place and presented correctly.

A team mindset. You’re happy to support colleagues, communicate effectively and work towards shared goals.

Flexibility and initiative. You’re willing to adapt, work at pace and help wherever you’re needed, particularly during busy periods.

About us

At TGJones, our people make the difference. We want colleagues to feel welcome, supported and able to develop their skills. You’ll be part of a team that values ideas, works together and takes pride in helping our stores run smoothly every day.

Whether this is your first job or your next step, there’s room to learn and grow.

Benefits for store colleagues include in-store employee discounts, generous third-party discounts, an employee assistance programme, flexible shifts, a company pension and more.

We’re committed to an inclusive workplace where everyone can be themselves and do their best. Whatever your background or identity, you’re welcome at TGJones. If you need adjustments during the selection process, please let our Talent Acquisition team know—we’re happy to help.
