Stock Controller / Allocator

Prices Plus, Yatala QLD

Prices Plus is an Australian-owned variety retailer with a store network across QLD and NSW. We are seeking a disciplined, data-driven Stock Controller/Allocator to join our Head Office team in Yatala.
Working closely with our buying and logistics team, you'll help make sure the right products are in the right stores at the right time.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Inventory Optimization: Manage replenishment and coordinate stock levels across our store network.
  • Data-Driven Allocation: Use sales data and seasonal trends to ensure products are in the right stores at the right time.
  • Performance Analysis: Analysing sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve stock flow.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Act as the critical link between Buying, Logistics, and Suppliers to coordinate seamless stock movement.
  • Inventory Integrity: Lead the stocktaking process and resolve inventory discrepancies with urgency.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience: in retail stock control, allocations and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills: High proficiency in Excel. Experience with ERP and WMS systems is highly regarded.
  • Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail; you spot the discrepancies others miss and follow through to resolution.
  • Proactive Mindset: Self-motivated and task-driven with the initiative to improve current processes.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively across buying, logistics, and store teams.
