Looking for a retail position with a consistent weekday schedule?

Join Imperial Distributors as a Retail Service Merchandiser and enjoy flexible daytime hours, Monday through Friday with NO nights and generally NO weekends.

As a Retail Service Merchandiser, you will work independently at our customer’s supermarket in the Bridgehampton, NY to keep health and beauty care, general merchandise, and seasonal departments organized, fully stocked and visually appealing.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours – no nights or and generally no weekends

Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour

Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

Typical Start Time: 7AM – 9AM (Flexible Start Time )

Travel & Mileage: Additional compensation is provided for travel time during the busy Memorial Day through the end of September.

Location: Single-Store Assignment in Bridgehampton, NY

Must be local to the Hampton Bays, NY area.

**Sign-On Bonus: $1,500**

Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and rotate merchandise
• Keep product sections organized, clean, and visually appealing
• Maintain inventory levels and place product orders to support availability
• Set up and maintain promotional and seasonal displays
• Complete product resets and introduce new items
• Maintain planogram, pricing, and tag compliance
• Manage back stock and ensure available products are worked to the shelf
• Identify and resolve basic in-store merchandising issues
• Build positive working relationships with store managers and employees
• Complete weekly service reports using a company-provided tablet
• Communicate with store management and your Imperial supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a tablet
• Ability to perform basic math related to inventory, pricing and product quantities
• Reliable transportation
