We are currently seeking professional, customer-focused Full-Time Retail Security Officers to join our team working in Doncaster, Victoria.

About the Role:

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while creating a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Working within a high-profile retail setting, you will represent Challenger Security with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Roster: Availability to work 38 hours a week, including weekends and public holidays
• Hours: Retail hours, dependent on location e.g. 8am - 5pm or 9am - 9pm
• Locations: Doncaster, Victoria

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal and external patrols throughout the store
• Conduct static posts
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Monitor customer, staff, and asset protection requirements
• Deter suspicious or unauthorised activities
• Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Liaise effectively with store management and key stakeholders
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining security standards
• Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors

What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Current VIC Private Security Licence (Required)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (Required)
• Police Check (Required)
• Previous retail security experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and report-writing skills (Highly Desirable)
• Professional presentation and grooming standards
• Excellent observation and situational awareness skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to security
• Physical fitness to undertake patrols and stand for extended periods
• A Friendly and Customer-Focused Attitude
