Position Summary

As our Sales Manager, you will help our stylists grow in confidence and deliver the LUV experience while driving sales performance. Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you will lead the floor, coach in the moment, and turn sales insights into practical next steps. You will also style select appointments, showing the team how genuine connection and confident selling work together.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the floor

• Guide daily appointment flow, assign appointments, and support stylists throughout the day, especially during peak hours.
• Coach the team to understand each bride’s vision, budget, and timeline, offer thoughtful recommendations, and confidently ask for the sale.
• Style select appointments while balancing your own sales responsibilities with the needs of the floor.
• Partner with the Showroom Manager on staffing needs, appointment scheduling, and daily priorities. When designated to lead in their absence, coordinate the sales floor within established policies and approval limits.
• Help resolve appointment concerns with care and sound judgment, involving the Showroom Manager when additional support or approval is needed.

Develop your team

• Observe appointments and give clear, timely feedback that helps stylists strengthen their skills.
• Lead daily huddles and regular coaching conversations to set priorities, recognize progress, and build accountability.
• Support new stylist onboarding and ongoing education on gowns, accessories, product knowledge, and the LUV appointment process.
• Identify development needs and partner with the Showroom Manager on performance improvement and team growth.

Sales Manager responsibilities and qualifications

Turn insights into results

• Drive progress toward showroom and individual sales goals, including conversion, average order value, and accessory sales.
• Review daily and weekly results with the Showroom Manager, identify opportunities, and follow through on clear action plans.
• Monitor appointment attendance and client satisfaction using LUV’s established measures, and coach the team to improve preparation, follow-up, and service.
• Maintain accurate order entry, appointment notes, client records, and follow-up so the team can deliver a consistent experience.

What you bring

• At least three years of sales leadership experience in retail, luxury, or hospitality; bridal or appointment-based selling experience is preferred.
• A track record of achieving sales goals and helping others improve through coaching.
• Confidence using sales reports to identify trends, set priorities, and measure progress.
• Clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and a coaching style that is encouraging and accountable.
• Strong organization and the ability to stay calm and present during busy appointments.
• An interest in fashion and hospitality, with a commitment to making every bride and team member feel welcome.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and peak business periods as needed.
