Elevate your retail career at New Zealand’s unique Hermitage Hotel and help guests take home more than memories, by leading a retail experience.

As Retail Sales Manager, you’ll lead our retail team, be responsible for our retail store, and driving sales of our tourism experiences, including our exclusive Trekking, Star Gazing, and Glacier Explorer boat trips.

This role is responsible for driving revenue, maintaining merchandising standards, operational excellence, and fostering a team culture that reflects the values of the Hermitage and the spirit of Aoraki/Mount Cook.
What will you bring to the role?

• Your experience in sales to drive revenue targets with a focus on New Zealand-made products and our tourism experiences.
• Your ability to recruit, train, and develop teams to deliver outstanding service.
• A passion for merchandising and visual standards
• Demonstrable experience managing daily operations in a fast-paced retail store
• Experience in upselling and cross-selling products and services.
• Your financial acumen to optimize rostering, budgeting, and forecasting.
• A passion for the outdoors that aligns to the very best of Aoraki/Mount Cook

The Hermitage Hotel is a 4 star + hotel located in the stunning Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park.
