Retail Sales Associate

SoHo Flagship, New York City

Salary: $17.31/hr

Full-Time & Part-Time positions available

WHERE YOU’LL PLAY

Deliver the Vivobarefoot Experience

  • Deliver warm, authentic and human customer experiences every day.

  • Guide customers through their barefoot journey using product knowledge and natural movement principles.

  • Educate customers on Vivobarefoot products and brand philosophy.

  • Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and care.

Sales Contribution

  • Contribute to store sales goals through exceptional customer engagement.

  • Maintain strong product knowledge across all categories.

  • Support promotions, launches and key trading periods.

  • Work collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Operational Excellence

  • Support opening and closing procedures as required.

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the sales floor and back of house.

  • Follow company policies and operational procedures.

Inventory & Product Care

  • Assist with deliveries and stock replenishment.

  • Maintain stockroom organisation and accuracy.

  • Support inventory counts and stock movement activities.

Community Support

  • Welcome customers attending events, workshops, walks and run clubs.

  • Help create a welcoming environment that reflects Vivobarefoot values.

  • Support community activations and store experiences.

  • Delivers exceptional customer experiences consistently.

  • Contributes to achievement of store sales goals.

  • Maintains strong product knowledge and brand advocacy.

  • Supports community events and flagship activations.

  • Demonstrates growth and readiness for future opportunities within Vivobarefoot.

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Positive attitude and strong team-first mindset.

  • Reliable, professional and detail-oriented.

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Passion for movement, health, wellness, sustainability or outdoor lifestyles preferred.

  • Retail, hospitality, fitness or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 30 pounds.

  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, climb ladders and navigate stairs.

  • Ability to support stockroom, merchandising and operational tasks.
