ROLE SNAPSHOT:

  • Position: Part-time Sales Associate

  • Location: The Grove Flagship Store (Los Angeles, CA)

  • Store Opening: July 2026

  • Compensation: $18-20 per hour (based on experience)

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As a part-time/seasonal Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver an exceptional in-store experience for our customers. Through authentic customer engagement, strong product knowledge, and a passion for the New Balance brand, you will help customers find the right products while contributing to a welcoming and organized retail environment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and engaging customers, asking thoughtful questions to understand their needs, and recommending products.

  • Measure and fit customers, answering their questions and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Represent New Balane brand values – integrity, teamwork, and total customer satisfaction.

  • Process sales transactions accurately.

  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked floor; ensure merchandise is properly labeled, priced, and displayed.

  • Support loss-prevention efforts.


YOUR EXPERIENCE AND STRENGTHS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Strong customer-service mindset; ability to greet customers, communicate clearly and professionally with customers and teammates.

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Physical requirements: Ability to lift between 4-8 lbs; ability to move or assist with moving product up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods; kneel, squat, and climb ladders or stairs as needed.

  • Preferred prior experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment

The Grove, CA Retail Only Pay Range: $17.87 - $17.90 - $21.50 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
