The Retail Salesperson will assist customers with purchasing merchandise.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Greet and interact with customers.- Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.- Sells to customers using suggestive selling, and tie-in selling and upselling. - Rotate stock when new merchandise comes in- Ensure sales areas are kept neat, clean, dusted, and inventory in the correct place.- Ensure merchandise has proper tags and labeling.- Ensure back stock is kept neat and orderly, checked, and stocked daily.- Maintain end caps and rotate end cap merchandise once a month.- Thorough knowledge about how to place special orders and utilize the Do It Best Catalog.- Place orders and assist charge customers with questions and issues.- Compliance with Hacienda uniform policy.- Ongoing completion of online training.- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
