At Optus, connection is at the heart of everything we do, helping millions of Australians stay connected while creating meaningful customer experiences every day.
We're building a talent community across the Brisbane East store cluster, including Wynnum, Capalaba and Victoria Point, for future casual, part-time and full-time Retail Consultant opportunities.
As a Retail Consultant, you'll play an important role helping customers while building skills and experience that can support future career opportunities. Whether they're choosing a new phone, setting up internet or looking for support when something hasn't gone to plan, you'll take the time to understand their needs, make technology easier to navigate and connect them with the right solutions.
You'll be joining a team that supports one another, works towards shared goals and takes pride in helping both customers and teammates succeed.
Along the way, you'll gain experience, confidence and skills that can open doors across leadership, customer experience, operations and many other career pathways within Optus.
Success in this role comes from balancing great customer experiences with the everyday responsibilities that help a store run well, from achieving team goals to following the processes that keep customers and the business safe.
Why Optus?
A role in retail can be the start of something much bigger.
You'll be part of a team that supports your growth, celebrates progress and helps you build skills that can open doors across Optus and beyond. Whether you're looking for your first role, a fresh challenge or a long-term career, you'll have opportunities to learn, build confidence and grow in a way that works for you.
Alongside the experience you'll gain, you'll have access to benefits and support that help you bring your best to work and life.
If you're looking for a welcoming place to learn, contribute and start your next chapter, we'd love to hear from you.
At Optus, we are strengthened by others and that means valuing diversity and saying ‘yes’ to embracing individual differences. We are committed to ensuring that our application process provides an equal employment opportunity to all job seekers, including individuals from diverse gender, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, individuals with a disability, individuals identifying as being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals who may have served in the armed forces or who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
