Responsibilities: This person will provide guidance, technical expertise, and agronomic knowledge to a team of precision agronomy specialists in a given territory. Provide leadership in areas of training, sales, and implementation of the Nutri-Track program. Promote nutrient stewardship and variable rate nutrient management to MFA staff and customers in the given territory. Assist wholesale agronomy staff and retail locations with equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs. Help with the acquisition and placement of precision agronomy specialist talent. Create synergy between precision personnel and Crop-Trak staff. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
What You’ll Do
- In conjunction with sales and operation staff, develop business plans and customer targets for various precision offerings.
- Ensure standards and protocols of Nutri-Track and other precision offerings remain intact.
- Seek out and implement additions to Nutri-Track, as well as possible new precision offerings that will support MFA and its customers.
- Train and support precision specialists on sales, professional, and technical skills required to sell and support precision agronomy programs such as Nutri-Track
- Lead sales efforts of Nutri-Track in given territory
- Set aggressive sales goals for precision specialists and give them tools needed to succeed
- Monitor sales activity such as CRM data to provide accountability and coaching opportunities to precision specialists

Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Agronomy required - M.S. preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Strong background in in sales management, precision agronomy consulting, and crop advising
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification preferred
