Position Purpose:

To step change our Retail Operations Strategy and Execution with end state in mind to get our BI (Beauty Influencer/Consultant) Organization to perform the best in class Retail Excellence. He / She will draw on extensive knowledge of Retail Operations landscape, people management and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business partners to achieve success.

Job roles and responsibilities :

As our Retail Operations Manager, this position will report to the Regional Retail Operations Lead & dotted report to TH Senior Brand Lead; your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the Thailand market needs and analyzing these data to devise and implement necessary procedures. Seek to apply and relevant innovation where necessary
  • Responsible for the overall success of retail operations driving sales, reinforcing operations, and store leadership management & development
  • Ensure strong Operational stewardship, following guidelines deployed to market and executed in market while remaining competitive
  • Ensure excellent result of principal’s EQR & Annual Free Goods Audit in every market including organizing audit preparations and executions, as well as driving improvements
  • Responsible for opening new doors, new product launches, the full encompassing details that this would entail including training and the manpower dispatch by door
  • Develop mid- and long-term strategies in order to achieve growth projections
  • Develop sales strategies in retail stores (Departmental Stores, Chain Stores and other strategic event projects) together with Senior Brand Lead
  • Manage all retail-related projects across the region to establish retail operations excellence
  • Formulating retail policies to accentuate the consumer experience through developing and maintaining Retail Operations SOP to ensure best in class execution in stores.
  • Accountability of the retail partnership (store team) to optimize inventory, improve processes and effectiveness within this side of the business
  • Working with stakeholders to establish excellent retail processes which are efficient and consumer-centric.

· Ensuring all projects and policies confirm to Brand Value and local regulations. Collaborate with other division of the company to ensure Brand Value is upheld

  • Analyze and review store management team and Retail team's performance for career growth and succession planning.
  • Identifying and communicating sales driver opportunities with sales, marketing and merchandising teams
  • Create and maintain strategic retail recruiting plans with clearly defined objectives, desired outcomes, and a calendar of events.
  • Manage, supervise and coach Retail Operation Executive in recruiting, hiring and training of Retail Supervisors, Counter Leaders and Beauty Consultants.
  • Awareness and perfection of the merchandising in stores through auditing store for standards in sales, operations, customer service standards and merchandising as well as policies and procedures.
  • Lead Mystery Shopping Programs in market to ensure high quality retail experience for our consumers.
  • Be a strong partner to our Trainers to co-develop a holistic training curriculum to build Beauty Consultants’ capabilities to achieve their goals.
  • Develop strong partnerships with real partners management (store team) and negotiate best opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing in the Beauty and Cosmetics industry
  • Rich knowledge of Sales & Retail Operations is a must
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams with strong people management skills.
  • Knowledge & Experience in Beauty/Skincare/Prestige brands
  • Very in-depth retail understanding and ability to influence with strong commercial awareness
  • Stock inventory management skills
  • Good communications both English and Thai
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage various audience across multi-cultures
  • Strong team player
