Havas MarketThe Retail Media & Commerce Lead will support the evolution and execution of integrated Retail Media, Commerce and Marketplaces initiatives across clients and internal teams. Positioned as a senior hybrid expert, this role bridges media, content, commercial performance, and marketplace operations.

The Retail Media & Commerce Lead is responsible for designing data‑driven strategies, driving performance excellence, and enabling best‑in‑class activation across Retail Media and eCommerce environments. This role influences capability building, supports cross‑functional alignment, and enhances client outcomes through strategic depth and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Client Advisory

  • Develop and refine integrated strategies across Retail Media, eCommerce, content, and digital shelf.
  • Present innovations, new platform features, and best practices across Retail Media and marketplace environments (Amazon, marketplaces, eRetailers).
  • Educate and support clients on key commerce levers: digital shelf optimization, content quality, conversion drivers, ratings & reviews, and product experience.
  • Deliver data‑driven, full‑funnel strategies that connect brand visibility with commercial impact.
  • Contribute to ecommerce consulting projects: audits, assortment reviews, content evaluations, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Support Business Development in crafting strong 360° proposals for prospects.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives to recommend impactful growth opportunities.

2. Retail Media & Commerce Operations Excellence

  • Guide the planning and oversight of campaigns across Amazon Ads, Retail Media Networks, and conversion‑focused performance channels.
  • Ensure alignment between media, ecommerce, content, and data teams for seamless execution.
  • Support advanced reporting and insights development with Data teams (dashboards, forecasting, attribution).
  • Monitor performance across key KPIs:
    • Media: ROAS, CTR, CR, New‑to‑Brand
    • Commerce: Share of Search, Buybox %, availability, content health score, pricing competitiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, activation frameworks, and tool adoption.

3. Internal Capability Development

  • Mentor teams across Retail Media and Commerce disciplines to elevate expertise and execution quality.
  • Help maintain documentation, playbooks, best practices, and cross‑discipline learning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chapter to ensure strategic cohesion, operational maturity, and excellence in delivery.
  • Contribute to financial tracking for the discipline (performance, billings, revenue opportunities).

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5–8+ years in Commerce, Retail Media, Marketplaces, Digital Shelf, or Digital Trade Marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Ads, Criteo, RMNs, and marketplace/eRetail platforms (Seller/Vendor Central, retailer platforms).
  • Familiarity with SaaS commerce tools such as AMC, Pacvue, Skai, Funnel, Helium10 or similar platforms.
  • Experience working across media, content, and ecommerce operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of the Retail Media + Commerce ecosystem.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence without direct authority.
  • Commercial awareness, growth mindset, and passion for innovation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to support cross-team coordination.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
