Retail Marketing Operations (RMO) Associate
The Retail Marketing Operations (RMO) Associate assists with marketing strategies and initiatives for Lithia auto dealerships. This role focuses on supporting Regional RMO Teams in driving quality traffic, enhancing customer
loyalty, and achieving operational excellence in partnership with Lithia Home Office and external partners.This person serves as the primary support liaison between Regional RMO Teams and key partners, and will assist in
managing operational tasks for driving change with measurable impact.


The RMO Associate reports to the Senior Manager, Retail Marketing Operations.

This role is ideally suited for candidates based in Texas or Florida, with a preference in major metropolitan areas such as Dallas, Houston, Austin, Tampa, or Miami, to best support regional operations and collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Oversight: Drive store performance in customer loyalty, satisfaction, sales, after sales growth, and profitability through tailored marketing strategies and traffic management. Take personal ownership for effectiveness and impact as reflected in key company reporting, such as the Store Performance Scorecard and Customer Ecosystem Scorecard.
  • Customer Loyalty Initiatives: Support the design and implementation of marketing strategies that strengthen long-term customer relationships, leveraging internal technology and solutions with priority. Partner with Regional RMO Teams to create loyalty-focused programs and initiatives that enhance the
  • customer experience and nurture retention. Utilize the Customer Ecosystem Scorecard to identify opportunities and measure success for delivering on both store and overall company loyalty.
  • OEM Partnerships: Develop a deep understanding of OEM programs and KPIs to help guide alignment on initiatives that drive customer satisfaction and store loyalty.
  • Data-Driven Guidance: Provide actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations to Regional RMO Teams to assist them in building and executing marketing strategies aligned with the Customer Ecosystem. Identify customer behavior trends to tailor marketing approaches that drive loyalty and retention that is measurable on the Store Performance Scorecard and Customer Ecosystem Scorecard.
  • Content and Campaign Management: Partner with LAD Marketing team members and external partners to create impactful, customer-focused content and measure campaign success.
  • Collaboration and Strategy Execution: Collaborate with other RMO Associates to ideate and provide support to deliver on strategic business initiatives that align with customer loyalty goals.
  • Technology and Analytics Integration: Leverage internal reporting, market intelligence, data analytics, and emerging technologies to assist in creating personalized, targeted marketing approaches. Identify opportunities to drive customer engagement, retention, and growth through innovative loyalty programs and strategies.
  • Market Adaptability: Monitor and provide support in adapting to changing market conditions. Utilize industry research and critically evaluate campaign performance to continuously provide support in improving strategies and outcomes.
  • Alignment and Advocacy: Support the alignment and integration of key company initiatives and strategies, serving as a resource and advocate for Regional RMO Teams and internal partners.
  • Travel Requirements: Depending on home location, regional geography, and Regional RMO Team needs occasional overnight travel may be required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the automotive industry, dealership operations, and automotive marketing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using Google Analytics, CRM Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate the efficacy and ROI of marketing
  • strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
