Job Description

  • Lead the planning, strategic deployment, execution and overall result accountability of all WFJ retail marketing events and commercial activation projects in China.
  • As the core project owner, to align global strategies with local market commercial goals, independently coordinate cross-department internal stakeholders, regional/global counter parts and external professional agencies/vendors.
  • Responsible for project strategy formulation, resource integration, budget management, team coordination, quality control and KPI performance delivery.
  • Continuously optimize marketing activation effectiveness, ensure brand image execution excellence and boost retail business growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Planning & Global-Local Marketing Integration

  • Support team to formulate annual WFJ marketing strategies and activation plans based on global guidelines and local market needs. Take the lead in briefing, discussions, reviewing and validating event formats, on-site layouts, 3D renderings, on-site animations/activities, customized gifts and execution guidelines. Ensure full integration of offline retail events, commercial animations and brand overall marketing & communication campaigns, guaranteeing consistent global brand image while realizing localized commercial adaptation and market breakthrough.

2. Leadership of Commercial Retail Activation Projects

  • Take lead on event design and on-site execution of all commercial-oriented retail marketing activities, including boutique events, pop-up/podiums, boutique extension promotions, high-end client presentations, high-end private viewings, gala dinners and exhibitions.
  • Cooperate with Global and Regional team to enhance client experience by local adaptation, work with external agencies to customize localized commercial activation solutions, create ultimate client experience, recruit new clients, enhance clients’ loyalty and convert brand exposure into actual retail sales performance.

3. External Vendor & Agency Overall Management

  • Take charge of the full-process management of external supplier resources as the core person in charge.
  • Work with Indirect Procurement team on vendor screening, qualification assessment and quotation negotiation, build and optimize the high-quality WFJ vendor resource pool covering event production, activities/animation, catering, photography, performance, security and logistics.
  • Well-manage the timeline, layout design, sample confirmation and quality control of all global standardized and localized customized event projects. Independently supervise project production progress, quality inspection, venue delivery, on-site installation and post-event dismantling work, fully control on-site operation details of event rundown, performance/shows, interactive activities and catering services. Take the lead in sorting out and reviewing all official documents including NDAs, contracts, quotations, PROs and invoices, complete financial settlement and document filing efficiently and accurately.

4. Cross-Department Internal Resource Coordination & Management

  • Communicate and align goals with core internal teams including Retail & operation, VM team, Merchandising team, CEM team. Coordinate assortment plan, inventory deployment and display resources for events. Organize and arrange event briefings and discussions, support event staff training, supervise the implementation of pre-event training and on-site service standards, solve cross-department coordination problems independently, ensure the efficient operation of internal resources and smooth event on-site execution.

5. Budget Management & Cost Control

  • Take ownership of the annual WFJ retail marketing budget. Conduct budget planning, resource allocation, cost auditing and whole-process cost control.

6. Post-Project Analysis, Reporting

  • Responsible for high-standard post-event reports, with KPIs achievements, learnings and overview.


REQUIREMENTS (what you can bring to the team)

  • Bachelor' degree and above;
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in luxury event planning and execution;
  • Solid working background in luxury watch & fine jewelry industry, familiar with high-end luxury brand retail marketing operation rules and VIP event operation logic;
  • Rich international work/study experience, proficient in cross-cultural and cross-regional collaborative work mode, with global project docking experience is highly preferred;
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English, notions in French a plus;
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop proficient;
  • Organised and agile;
  • Strong time and deadline management skills;
  • Smart communication skills, comfortable with teamwork and multiple-counterpart environment.
