HP North America Consumer & Retail Marketing is looking for a Retail Marketing Execution Lead to drive the execution, coordination, and delivery of retail marketing plans across key retail partners.

This role is responsible for leading the retail execution team and ensuring that marketing plans move from strategy into high-quality, on-time execution across accounts, channels, and campaigns. The role sits at the center of retail delivery, working closely with Retail Growth Managers, category teams, media, eCommerce, content, analytics, finance, agencies, and sales.

The ideal candidate is a strong operator and people leader who can bring structure, urgency, and clarity to complex retail marketing execution. This person should be comfortable managing a team, orchestrating multiple workstreams, solving problems quickly, and making sure the organization delivers with consistency and excellence.

This is a critical role for someone who enjoys turning plans into action, connecting teams, improving how work gets done, and ensuring retail marketing execution supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Retail Execution Team

Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for retail marketing execution across key North America retail partners.

Set clear priorities, roles, responsibilities, and ways of working for the team.

Create a strong operating rhythm across the execution team, ensuring visibility into workload, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, speed, and continuous improvement.

Ensure the team is focused not only on completing tasks, but on delivering high-quality retail marketing that drives impact.

Orchestrate Retail Marketing Delivery

Own the end-to-end coordination of retail marketing delivery across accounts, campaigns, product launches, promotional moments, and key business priorities.

Partner with Retail Growth Managers and category marketing leads to translate account strategies and business priorities into clear execution plans.

Coordinate across internal and external teams to ensure assets, content, media, messaging, offers, timelines, approvals, and reporting are aligned.

Proactively identify execution risks, bottlenecks, gaps, or dependency issues and drive resolution with the right stakeholders.

Ensure retail marketing plans are delivered on time, on brand, and with a strong connection to business objectives.

Drive Retail Campaign and Account Execution

Support execution across key retail accounts including Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Staples, Office Depot, and other strategic retail partners.

Ensure strong delivery of retail campaigns, seasonal moments, product launches, in-store and online activations, retail media programs, and account-specific marketing plans.

Partner closely with eCommerce, content, retail media, and analytics teams to ensure retail plans are connected across the full customer journey.

Help create consistency in how retail plans are built, tracked, communicated, and measured across accounts.

Ensure account teams have clear visibility into deliverables, status, next steps, and performance.

Improve Retail Operating Rhythm

Build and manage the operating rhythm for retail execution, including weekly status tracking, campaign timelines, execution reviews, issue resolution, and leadership updates.

Create stronger visibility across the retail marketing calendar, major initiatives, deadlines, and dependencies.

Improve how work flows between Retail Growth Managers, category teams, content teams, media teams, agencies, and sales.

Simplify processes where possible and create scalable ways of working for retail execution.

Help the organization move from reactive execution management to more proactive planning and delivery.

Performance, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

Partner with analytics, retail media, eCommerce, and sales teams to understand campaign performance and execution impact.

Ensure learnings from retail campaigns are captured and used to improve future execution.

Support leadership reporting with clear updates on execution status, risks, progress, outcomes, and key decisions needed.

Connect execution quality to business impact, including traffic, conversion, sell-through, market share, revenue, margin, and partner priorities.

Help define what great retail execution looks like and how the team measures progress against it.

This person should bring a strong retail mindset, a bias for action, and the ability to create clarity when many teams, timelines, and priorities are moving at once.

They should be comfortable pushing for quality, accountability, and speed, while also building strong relationships across marketing, sales, media, analytics, agencies, and retail partners.

Required Experience

7+ years of experience in retail marketing, marketing operations, channel marketing, shopper marketing, eCommerce marketing, campaign execution, or related roles.

Experience leading or managing a team.

Strong experience managing complex cross-functional marketing execution across multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Experience working with retail partners, retail media, eCommerce, in-store marketing, content, or account-based marketing programs.

Strong project management and operational leadership skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues, and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear updates, executive-ready summaries, and action-oriented meeting structures.

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills. Experience with project management, workflow, dashboarding, or reporting tools is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in consumer technology, retail, consumer electronics, or a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience working with major retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Staples, Office Depot, or similar partners.

Experience working closely with sales, category marketing, retail media, eCommerce, analytics, finance, and agencies.

Experience improving operating models, building execution processes, or leading transformation of marketing delivery.

Familiarity with retail calendars, promotional planning, product launches, retail media, and digital shelf/content execution.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to lead the retail execution engine for a large, complex marketing organization. The person will be responsible for leading the team that turns retail strategy into action, orchestrating delivery across multiple accounts and functions, and improving how HP shows up with retail partners and customers.

The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
