The Market Refresh Manager is responsible for achieving all refresh goals and tracking SSS (same-store sales) performance after each refresh is completed. The expectation is to see an 8-10% sales lift after a refresh. You’ll play an important role in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring exceptional customer service across all retail locations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail sales, strong people skills, and a knowledge of merchandising & marketing.
This position will work with drivers, warehouse, and customer service managers over the location where a refresh is being completed through each refresh.
• Onsite frequently, building strong client relationships & keeping retail locations upheld to company standards
• Work closely with clients to understand client needs & partner with operations for support
• Keep track of refreshes and reporting them according to the refresh toolkit and guidelines
• Identify locations that have a decline in same store sales, clients to be considered for a market refresh; that could include updating product mix, branding, equipment & technology
• Collaborate on merchandising, marketing & customized solutions to enhance customer experience, revitalize retail presence, & retain individual client satisfaction
• Heavy communication, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget & meet predefined objectives
• Knowledge of systems, equipment & point of sale technology, able to troubleshoot onsite as needed
• Knowledge of products, planograms & client preferences
• Assist with pricing & price audits in One Market
• Ability to pull reporting to be used in client facing presentations or to leadership
• Will notify a member of Senior Management of any information that would be beneficial in account retention
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be highly organized, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to change and thrive in a dynamic environment, maintain and positive and patient attitude
• Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Capable of building and maintaining effective relationships
• High attention to detail and exceptional work quality
• Project Management experience is a plus
• Retail Management, merchandising experience is a plus
• Warehouse/ Purchasing experience a plus
• 3 years’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
