Retail Leasing Officer / Senior Officer / Assistant Manager (China Portfolio, based in Hong Kong) | real estate agency / consultancy welcome

The organization is a substantial corporation based in Hong Kong, engaged in various projects and ventures in both Hong Kong and China. They are currently seeking skilled leasing specialists to become part of a 10-member team, under the guidance of a Head of Leasing. The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee the leasing operations of their flagship shopping malls in China.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in developing and assessing leasing strategy and tenant mix
• Conduct market research to support engagement with potential tenants
• Actively pursue brand acquisition aligned with company direction and leasing strategy
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding leasing matters, such as tenancy agreements and legal documents
• Support management in budgeting, reporting, and preparing presentation materials
• Stay updated on market trends and offer insights on brand recruitment and leasing strategy
• Regular business travel to major cities in China every 1-2 months

Qualifications

• Hold a degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail leasing, preferably in shopping malls or retail consultancy agencies
• Familiarity with the Chinese market and its unique dynamics will be highly advantageous
• Proficient in drafting leasing letters, tenancy agreements, and fitting out processes is advantageous
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the global retail landscape and emerging retail trends
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage both external parties and internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
