Maintain a hands-on, field-oriented approach, with regular visits to operational sites to validate solutions in real conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate local workstreams for projects, enhancements and change requests, following Regional PMO practices, with structured follow-up of milestones, risks and actions through to closure.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with local vendors and Regional/Global IT, tracking commitments, SLAs and deliverables.
  • Support scope definition and prioritization of new initiatives, escalating blockers and driving ownership across teams without direct authority.

Field Engagement, Testing & Implementation

  • Maintain close contact with station operators and visit sites as needed to support issue analysis, pilots, testing and change validation in real operating conditions.
  • Participate in UAT, pilots and post-implementation validation, capturing and following up on issues and feedback.
  • Support go-live preparation and stabilization, identifying improvement opportunities from operational trends.

Operational IT Ownership & Service Continuity

  • Act as the local escalation point for incidents requiring deeper analysis or business coordination, ensuring clear ownership and timely communication.
  • Support incident, change and problem-management processes per Puma IT policies, monitoring service quality and recurring issues.
  • Maintain an updated view of local IT solutions and dependencies, proactively identifying risks and reporting trends to the Regional Retail IT team.

Knowledge and abilities:

  • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years in IT roles combining business/application analysis, IT operations, service delivery or project coordination, ideally across multiple physical sites.
  • Experience gathering requirements, coordinating vendors/technical teams, and participating in implementations, UAT or production stabilization.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM concepts (Incident, Change, Problem Management); ITIL certification a plus.
  • Experience in Retail, Energy, Oil & Gas, logistics or other multi-site operations is preferred, with exposure to POS, site systems, loyalty or fleet platforms a plus.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication, organization and follow-up discipline; able to escalate clearly and manage stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Hands-on, field-oriented mindset, autonomous in local coordination while collaborating with remote Regional/Global teams.
  • Own vehicle for regular visits to nearby stations (travel expenses covered for farther, scheduled visits).
  • Ownership, execution discipline and proactive communication.
  • Operational mindset with strong business/functional analysis skills.
  • Coordination without authority and stakeholder management across business, vendors and IT.
  • Problem solving, prioritization and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
