FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Monday - Friday

The Clinical Educator MA is responsible for facilitating new employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training activities for Retail Health employees within assigned region(s). The Clinical Educator may participate in curriculum updates and job aids, under the direction of the Regional Training Manager. The incumbent also develops strong relationships with clinic leadership in assigned region(s). This requires the ability to adapt and flex to dynamic environments and to the needs of learners and operational performance. The Clinical Educator will apply PDCA (plan, do, check and adjust) for education tools in collaboration with their peers and management to ensure ongoing learning and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver classes, onboarding programs, coaching and ad hoc training, example: Skills Day

  • Maintain standardized required knowledge, skills, and abilities to train clinic staff in the specialty areas served

  • Assists in facilitating orientation and continuing education activities for staff in collaboration with clinical leaders and management

  • Ability to deliver front office, revenue cycle, clinic flow, back office, leadership training, and Epic documentation training for clinical staff as applicable

  • Innovates ways to enhance learning outcomes and training efficiency · Ensure employee competency throughout training and completion of training

  • Contributes to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) by coaching staff through clinic rounding, led by data and feedback from training leadership, operations and quality teams

  • Ensures education activities and resources are within the provisions of the objectives of Retail Health MultiCare policies, ethics, and standards; and federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:

  • Active WA State MA-C license required

  • Three (3) years combined experience in functional specialty and education/ precepting /training preferred, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Current Washington State Driver's License: and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

  • Minimum Two (2) years of teaching experience (preferred)

  • BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI) (required). May be obtained through an in-house training program within 30 days

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $77,480.00 - $111,467.20 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
