About the Role:

Furniture Mart is looking for a hardworking and dependable Retail Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team in New Orleans, LA! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our showroom stocked, organized, and ready to wow customers every day. If you love staying active, working with a team, and taking pride in a job well done, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and deliveries
• Organize and maintain stockroom inventory for efficient product retrieval
• Assemble and stage furniture pieces for showroom display and customer orders
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery
• Assist sales staff as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and warehouse environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or retail receiving role preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75+ lbs)
• Basic furniture assembly skills or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
