About the Role:Join Furniture Mart as a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant and become a part of our dynamic team in Gretna, LA! In this exciting role, you will help customers find the perfect furniture solutions while showcasing your passion for design and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to assess their needs and provide home furnishings solutions.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of our product offerings and current design trends.
• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and financing options.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective communication and relationship building.
• Ensure the showroom is well-organized, visually appealing, and fully stocked.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional service.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or home goods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of furniture styles and design principles.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in design or sales is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move furniture as needed.
• Positive demeanor and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
