Retail Experience Associate – Anthologist Boutique

Location: Milos, Greece

About us

Anthologist store, present on the island of Milos within Eréma, a member of Design Hotels, is looking to recruit a Retail Experience Associate.

With reviews in media such as Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Monocle, and others, Anthologist’s retail store in Milos is located within a resort lobby and showcases our full range of home goods, decorative arts, jewelry, and fashion accessories, alongside a curated selection of international independent designers.

Based in Athens, Anthologist is a cross-cultural brand rooted in retail, hospitality, and design, led by Greek-American Andria Mitsakos. Championing cultural preservation as a living practice, it creates objects, sculpts fashion, imagines spaces, and tells stories that bridge tradition and the contemporary. Inspired by memory and lived experience, and through global collaborations, Anthologist shapes environments and collections that carry profound meaning and soulful presence. Furniture becomes sculpture, retail becomes ritual, design becomes story.

The Retail Experience Associate enhances the in-store experience, maintaining high customer service standards and delivering experiential retail through storytelling. The role involves both sales and operational responsibilities, representing Anthologist’s brand values in every interaction.

Key Accountabilities

• Represent the Anthologist brand inside and outside the store.
• Resolve customer issues or complaints by determining optimal solutions.
• Build and maintain a customer database.
• Assist with local events as planned.
• Ensure interior and exterior of the store meet Anthologist and hotel standards.
• Create content (images and stories) for social media.
• Analyze store performance and propose actions to the corporate team.
• Review reports and suggest merchandising changes.
• Maintain stock management, including rotation and inventory tracking.
• Ensure store operations follow predefined SOPs.
• Ensure store policies comply with hotel policies.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in retail; hotel or luxury hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong understanding of customer service and luxury retail standards.
• Analytical mindset with basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms).
• Own transportation (car or equivalent) is required.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek or other languages is a plus.
