Job Description

GENERAL MISSION

Hermès is looking for a Retail Excellence Manager to develop and implement data-driven analysis to contribute to the definition of the retail strategy and bolster the company’s ability to achieve growth. This role involves close collaboration with the stores in the Middle East and all Head Office functions to ensure the alignment of the retail strategy with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

Retail excellence & Business performance

  • Study analytics and financial information to identify areas of business opportunity and connect these opportunities to larger strategic initiatives
  • Ensure harmonization and alignment of performance indicators across teams and stores, aligned with the Group
  • Analyse on a regular basis (e.g. weekly, monthly) the retail performance and key KPIs (e.g. sales, sales per metiers, traffic, conversion rate, UPT, average basket)
  • Propose recommendations and build action plans
  • Lead selected retail projects following the Group roadmap (new processes, tools, etc), providing regular feedback to the key stakeholders
  • Coordinate retail initiatives with all relevant stakeholders in the Head Office
  • Support the Senior Retail Excellence Manager with benchmarking and trend analysis to inform key projects
  • Coordinate regular retail team meetings (propose strategic topics, content etc)
  • Support on monthly business reviews
  • Support in organizing quarterly retail management team off sites aligned with the retail strategy

RETAIL PROJECTS

KEY PRESENTATION MATERIALS

  • Support the Senior Retail Excellence Manager by preparing analytical reports and insights for board meetings and strategic review meetings
  • Contribute to the preparation of business reviews, strategic committees, and management presentations, providing clear and data-backed narratives
  • Provide intelligence and data support for executive visits and presentations

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in strategy, finance, business studies, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a retail performance management or related analytical position (consulting, etc).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams
  • Customer and business orientated mindset
  • Curiosity and adaptability
  • Fluent preferably in multiple languages with spoken and written English mandatory. French & Arabic are a plus.
