As the Retail Environment Manager, the person is responsible for developing strategies to proactively respond to shopper, customer, and competitor trends that result in sustainable sales and share growth by understanding and leveraging the factors that drive financial performance for retail environments.

What you will do:

  • Understand category strategy and shopper insights that drive growth for the company & respective Retail Environment. Develop and drive execution of 3 years Retail Environment plan in partnership with Customer Development and Marketing teams to exploit incremental sales growth opportunities in respective Retail Environments

  • Understand key competitor dynamics and address strong 5P plan to drive growth and halt competition

  • Lead discussions in Commercial Business Planning Cycle and be part of Budget Reviews preparation by understanding category, brand, Retail Environment and shopper strategies to build sustainable growth plans while maintaining profitable growth

  • Develop Go to Market Strategy, which includes identifying the pricing & promotion flow ensures distribution and coverage are optimized, determining assortment strategy and placement strategy for respective Retail Environment.

  • Establish objectives and ensure tracking mechanisms are in place to track through performance.

  • Monitor competitors in store strategy while benchmarking CP's in-store share of voice/activities

  • Track, review and modify Retail Environment plans to ensure CP is driving consumption off the shelf cost effectively and brand objectives are achieved

  • Define Product Assortment and Placement Strategies within the Retail Environment and lead Retail Category Development strategies in customers.

RE Based

  • RE Growth Initiatives, RE Health Checks & Diagnosis

  • Monthly Nielsen Analysis & Action Plan - distribution, ASP, value, volume, mix KPI & opportunities

  • Promo Price Guideline by RE

  • NPD GTM - assortment, promo pricing, distribution reco

  • RE Gap Plan

Category Based (shared RE)

  • Promo Pack GTM - End to End (Volume assumptions, planning readiness, release of info, post evaluation etc)

  • Operation changes (product artwork change, code changes etc)

  • SLOB management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum a Degree / Master's Degree, preferably in Business Management or Marketing Management

  • Possess at least 8 years of Retail Marketing/ Trade Marketing experience in the FMCG sector

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills

  • Proven success in designing and executing retail campaigns
