University of North Texas Dining Services is seeking dependable and customer-focused Hourly Dining Associates to support daily operations across UNT Retail Dining locations. Our retail dining venues include a variety of quick-service restaurants, cafés, and branded concepts that serve students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
In this role, you will assist with a variety of front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities to ensure efficient daily operations and an exceptional guest experience. Duties may include preparing food and beverages, assembling customer orders, operating a cash register and point-of-sale system, stocking food and supplies, maintaining clean and organized work areas, following food safety and sanitation standards, and providing friendly, professional customer service. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on operational needs.
The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and a positive attitude are essential. Previous experience in food service, retail dining, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic understanding of food service, sanitation, and safety practices, or the ability to learn and apply them quickly.
