Job Description

In this role you’ll partner closely with Regional Managers and Store teams to ensure strong operational standards, effective stock management, and a safe, compliant store environment. You will work to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service, sustainable profitability, and high standards for pets, people and the planet.

How You’ll Shape Success

Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure all stores operate in line with company policies, audit standards, and WHS requirements

  • Monitor and drive compliance across operational, safety, marketing, and VM standards

  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimise risk

Stock Integrity & Operations

  • Drive a strong culture of stock integrity, shrinkage control, and process discipline

  • Oversee stock management processes including cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory accuracy

  • Analyse stock trends and provide actionable insights to improve performance

Leadership & Capability

  • Lead, coach, and support Store Teams to deliver operational standards and performance outcomes

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver reporting and insights to improve visibility, accountability, and business performance

  • Identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability

  • Proven experience in retail operations, compliance, or stock control roles

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, stocktakes, and retail KPIs

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and influence teams

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
