The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony represents descendants of three Great Basin Indigenous peoples: the Numu (Northern Paiute), Newe (Western Shoshone), and Washeshu (Washoe) These communities lived in harmony with the land for generations before European contact, following seasonal cycles and forming small, efficient social groups for survival.
Each group's name means "The People" in their own language, reflecting their deep cultural identity and connection to the Earth. They maintained strong traditions, respected neighboring tribes, and engaged in trade throughout the region.
Today, the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony continues to honor these traditions while supporting the well-being, culture, and future of its tribal community.

You'll also document daily sales activity to balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, maintain a clean shop and surrounding areas, and stay alert to prevent theft or other losses-reporting concerns to management.
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED at hire
- Pass a pre-employment basic math test
- Customer-service experience (paid or volunteer)
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, carry, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Availability for a full-time, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
If you're ready to contribute with integrity and attention to detail, apply today.
You arrive, get set up at the counter, and review any notes from the prior shift. Early hours are often steady with regular customers; you focus on keeping the line moving while staying precise with payments and receipts. Between rushes, you rotate to the floor to straighten displays, check shelf levels, and bring out product from the stock area. As the day continues, you keep an eye on the storefront and parking area, address small messes as they happen, and make sure the entrance and restrooms stay presentable. Near close, you complete the end-of-shift paperwork, confirm totals match, and leave the shop organized for the next team member.
